What is Soleau?

Soleau, pronounced Solo, is a refreshing water brand designed for our modern lives, using incredibly invigorating Welsh spring water from the Monmouthshire hills.
Decanted into stylish 330ml cans, Soleau is currently available in both still and sparkling varieties, bringing sustainable hydration in convenient and recyclable packaging.

We are also developing flavoured, functional sparkling water varieties to be launched later in 2025. Soleau Boost, Soleau Glow and Soleau Vitality are sparkling, vitamin infused, fruit flavoured, functional spring waters for those who want to take a moment out of their busy lifestyles not just to hydrate, but to also enjoy and relax.

Why cans?

You’re probably used to seeing single serve water in plastic or glass bottles. We’ve decided to can our water into handy and convenient aluminium cans, for many reasons.

Highly Recyclable

Aluminium cans are generally more easily and widely recycled than plastic bottles and aluminium recycling is known to be more energy efficient than recycling plastic. Plus, cans are infinitely recyclable!

Lighter Packaging

Aluminium cans are lighter than plastic bottles, which then leads to lower transportation costs and, consequently, reduced carbon emissions associated with the transportation. Alongside this, typically less power is needed to chill drinks in cans.

Preservation of Freshness

Cans also provide a protective barrier against light and air, helping to preserve the freshness and taste of the water.

Reduce Plastic Waste

Using cans instead of plastic bottles helps reduce the demand for single-use plastic, which has been a major environmental concern due to its impact on marine life and ecosystems.
